A free giveaway of the colorful platformer The Messenger has started on the Epic Games store.
At the time of its release, the game received extremely positive reviews from both the specialized press and from critics. Gamers also received The Messenger warmly.
In some ways, the game resembles a modernized version of the classic Ninja Gaiden. In addition, the journalists noted good humor and catchy soundtrack of the pluses. Of the minuses, it is worth mentioning the not always clear direction for the further progress of the game (but this is an extremely subjective thing).
As a demon army besieges his village, a young ninja ventures through a cursed world, to deliver a scroll paramount to his clan’s survival. What begins as a classic action platformer soon unravels into an expansive time-traveling adventure full of thrills, surprises, and humor.
