The planned major update 2.0 for the iconic Cyberpunk 2077 game is now available for download on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S!
This patch, like all the previous ones, is absolutely free and is designed to prepare the game for the first and last paid update “Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty”.
This update is full of a huge number of changes and innovations: from the radical transformation of the Night City police, to the redesign of the talent tree and major changes in the game engine REDEngine. According to the developers themselves, the game now requires an 8-core processor (previously 6-core) for stable work.

Let us remind you that the story add-on “Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Freedom” will be released on September 26 and will be the last in the history of the original game. However, this does not mean that the history of the Cyberpunk world from CDPR studio is over. After the completion of the DLC, the team will begin the slow production of the sequel, which, according to the latest statements, will change the game engine to Unreal Engine 5.
