Hotfix 2.01 for Cyberpunk 2077 and the ” Phantom Liberty” add-on is already available on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The patch is designed to fix bugs of all sorts, which were most often encountered by players. In addition, 2.01 improves the game’s performance on all platforms, especially performance in the new Dogtown location.
The full patch note is available on the official website of the project. However, it should be noted that CD PROJEKT RED did not include all the changes and gameplay improvements that were made in the game. Apparently, we are in for some surprises, because the downloadable update is ~14 GB in size.
Separately, we would like to remind you that the Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty story add-on itself was released a little less than two weeks ago, namely on September 26. It is the last story expansion in the history of the original game. However, that doesn’t mean that the story of the Cyberpunk world from CDPR Studios is over. After completing the work on fixing bugs and errors in the DLC, the team will begin a slow production of the sequel, which, according to the latest statements, will move to the game engine Unreal Engine 5.
