New 7-nanometer EPYC “Rome” processors presented just a few days ago began register in the HWBot database. One of the first results was an absolute record set by the American enthusiast STH-Patrick, an employee of the ServeTheHome website.

10280 points – an absolute record among all processors in Cinebench R15

Judging by the result page, HWBot is not yet able to correctly identify the new CPU. However, this does not prevent him from becoming the first in the world rankings.

Judging by the validation of the CPU-z base, the processors worked practically at their average frequencies of 2800 MHz. Recall that the EPYC 7742 is characterized by base frequencies of 2250 MHz and maximum frequencies of 3400 MHz.

Of the other components of the server stand, only memory with a total volume of 512GB is known: 16 DDR4 3200 strips, each 32GB by Micron with the serial number 36ASF4G72PZ-3G2E2.

Most likely, this is just the beginning, and in the future we will have a wave of world record updates in all disciplines that support multi-threads.
