To say that the American overclocker Splave was late in publishing his results on the new CPUs from Intel for the LGA 1200 platform is like saying nothing.

Nevertheless, with his results, Splave still surpassed most of his competitors and climbed the pedestal of the CPU ranks with the Core i9-10900K processor in at least three disciplines. And such striking results can be expected as long as required. But the American was not limited only to the current CPU rank. In addition, a fresh CPU from Intel Core i9-10900K allowed the overclocker to climb to the top of the 10-core rank!

In the not very popular benchmark GPUPI for CPU – 1B, the enthusiast’s result was 1 minute 24 seconds 968 milliseconds. At the same time, the processor frequency was at around 7081 MHz:

In Geekbench3 – Multi Core, the overclocking of the processor was limited to 7000MHz, with results of 70191 points:

And finally, in the heavy version wPrime – 1024m, the result was 35 seconds 250 milliseconds, while the processor frequency remained at the level of 7065 MHz:

The Splave test setup consisted of the following hardware:

  • Motherboard – ASRock Z490 Aqua
  • RAM – 2 DDR4 x 8GB G.SKILL F4-3800C14-8GTZN
  • Video card – NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030 (GDDR5)
  • Thermal interface – Thermal Grizzly Kryo LHE
  • Power supply – Enermax Maxtytan 1250W
