American overclocker Splave continued his triumphant march with the 64-core, 128-thread AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3990X chip. The processor was overclocked to a relatively low frequency of 4500 MHz, and the result of the bench session was the result of 96.24 frames per second:
Of the features, I would like to highlight the fact that the Ryzen Threadripper 3990X chip was water-cooled (instead of liquid nitrogen, which often used).
The American test setup consisted of the following components:
- Motherboard – ASRock TRX40 Taichi
- RAM – 4 x 8GB G.SKILL NEO 3800C14
