Sony has confirmed an online event for PlayStation 5 on June 11. We expect to see the console itself and new game announcements.
The PS5 Reveal Event was originally scheduled for June 4, but Sony decided to postpone the unveiling of its new console indefinitely due to ongoing protests in the US.
However, just a few days later, unconfirmed reports surfaced suggesting the PS5 Reveal Event would take place this Thursday, June 11, at 9 PM BST.
Fortunately, these rumors were confirmed yesterday via the official PlayStation Twitter account:

First off, this event is exciting because there's a high probability Sony will finally show off the console itself. PlayStation 5's external design has been a hot topic among fans since last year, and the recent DualSense controller reveal only added fuel to the fire. Many gamers are now anticipating something truly innovative and groundbreaking.
Even if the new console's design doesn't interest you, don't worry. Rumor has it that several highly anticipated projects will also be unveiled at the show:
Horizon Zero Dawn 2
Resident Evil 8
However, don't get your hopes up too much. There's no guarantee all these rumored projects will appear at the PS5 Show, as no significant evidence has emerged to suggest their immediate announcement (this applies specifically to Demon's Souls Remake and Bloodborne Remastered).
