Today, the German overclocker sergmann managed to conquer three records at once on the flagship Intel Core i9-9900KS chip. It should be noted that the November newcomer to the processor market has been swinging for quite a long time. In almost no discipline, the new flagship was unable to overtake its predecessors: the Core i9-9900K and the Core i9-9900KF devoid of integrated graphics. Naturally, here we are talking about an 8-core rank.

But let’s move on to the benchmarks. Sergmann got all three gold in the Core i9-9900KS rank.

Let’s start with Geekbench3. Here the German limited himself to a frequency of 6977 MHz, modest by the standards of overclocking with liquid nitrogen. The result of sergmann’s experiments was 56061 points:

Next in line is the next version of Geekbench numbered 4. In this benchmark, the chip frequency was kept at 7374 MHz, which is already quite an impressive figure. The final result was 10160 points:

And finally, sergmann scored the first place in the extremely popular HWBOT x265 Benchmark – 4k. The processor frequency in this case was the lowest of the entire bench session – 6747 MHz, with a result of 24.795 frames per second:

The record-holder test setup consisted of the following components:

  • Motherboard – EVGA Z390 Dark (131-CS-E399-KR)
  • RAM – 16GB DDR4 G.SKILL Trident Z NEO
  • Power supply – Seasonic Platinum 1200watt
  • Video card – GeForce GT 710 from unknown manufacturer
