A photo of a “scalped” Ryzen 5 3600 processor appeared on the Fritzchens Fritz account on flickr.com.The cover was first removed from the processor, and then two crystals were removed:
The first of them is a 7 nanometer crystal that carries two quad-core CCX modules inside of the brand new Zen 2 architecture.
The second crystal, shown above, is already built using a 12-nanometer process technology. It combines a DDR 4 memory controller, a PCI-e 4.0 controller, and an Infinity Fabric bus.
