
RPCS3 recently received significant updates, bringing major visual and performance improvements to The Last of Us, Ratchet & Clank Future, and Resistance.
On August 17, the RPCS3 emulator's development team released a new video on their YouTube channel, highlighting updates for games like The Last of Us, Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time, and Resistance.

Improved frame buffer memory synchronization using Read Depth and Color Buffer has significantly boosted performance and enhanced visuals in Ratchet & Clank Future. Currently, this applies only to the Vulkan renderer, but that's expected to change soon.
⤢ ВІДКРИТИAnother achievement is the significant stabilization and improved rendering in The Last of Us. Performance also saw a boost, all thanks to an enthusiast known as kd-11.
Developers also report that RPCS3 will soon see further functional improvements, thanks to refined data transfer for DMA (Direct Memory Access – a technology for direct memory access, bypassing the CPU).
