RPCS3 developers have boosted God of War 3 performance, fixed graphical glitches in The Last of Us, and unlocked the framerate in Gran Turismo 5.
The RPCS3 emulator developers have posted a new video showcasing a bunch of fixes and performance optimizations brought by recent patches for God of War 3, Gran Turismo 5, and The Last of Us.
According to internal testing, the new God of War 3 patch delivers a major performance boost. Running the game on an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, for example, yielded an impressive 10 FPS increase.
Besides boosting GoW3 performance, the team also tackled graphical artifacts in The Last of Us. The latest patch fixes rain rendering and finally gets the bloom effect working properly.
The icing on the cake is the ability to unlock the framerate in the fan-favorite, highly detailed racing sim Gran Turismo 5.

⤢ ВІДКРИТИFinally, with these latest emulator updates, God of War 3 is now fully playable from start to finish. Keep in mind, though, that smooth emulation of Kratos' third adventure requires at least an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or an Intel Core i5-8400.
As for The Last of Us, the game still suffers from plenty of issues alongside rather mediocre performance. Still, a fully playable state doesn't seem that far off.
