French overclocker kikoone31 was able to surpass the previous record of his colleague NoMS and climb to first place in the AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT rank, discipline GPUPI for CPU – 1B.
The central processor was cooled with liquid nitrogen and was overclocked to a frequency of 5850 MHz (+50.00% to the base). At the same time, the DDR4 standard RAM operated at a frequency of 4000 MHz with latencies CL13.0 13-13-30 1T. The result of this bench session was 1 minute 57 seconds 683 milliseconds:

Except as a “miracle” (sarcasm), such a result cannot be called, because for the same NoMS the processor worked at the same frequency of 5850 MHz, and the memory speed was 4333 MHz with slightly higher delays CL14.0 13-13-24. Nevertheless, in theory, the increased RAM frequency neutralizes the increased delays, which means that kikoone31 applied some tweaks to the operating system and thus achieved a better result.

The kikoone31 test setup consisted of the following components:

  • OS – Windows 10;
  • Motherboard — ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Impact (BIOS 2010);
  • RAM — 2 x 8GB Kingston KHX4000C19D4/8GX;
  • CPU Cooling — Kingpin Cooling T-REX;
  • Power supply — MasterWatt Maker 1500W.

And it looked like this:
