It looks like Sony is looking to expand its presence in digital distribution services for PC games. Today it became known that the former PS4 exclusive Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition will drop into GOG next week.
Horizon Zero Dawn™ Complete Edition is coming soon on GOG.COM! The GOG version of the game will be released on November 24th with a full set of GOG GALAXY 2.0 features, including achievements, cloud saves, and more.
Prepare to join Aloy on her legendary quest to unravel the mysteries of a world ruled by deadly Machines. An outcast from her tribe, the young hunter strives to understand the past, discover her destiny, and stop the catastrophic threat to the future.
Based on the strict policy of the CD Projekt service, it is highly likely that the GOG version of Horizon Zero Dawn will be deprived of any DRM protection. This feature should have a positive effect on overall performance, as well as on the loading speed of the game.
At the moment, Horizon Zero Dawn is already available on PC on Steam and Epic Games Store, as well as on PS4. The project will be released on GOG next week, on November 24th.
In addition, we recall that the sequel to the game called “Horizon Forbidden West” will be released on PS4 and PS5 next year. It is not yet known whether the second part will be ported to the PC.
