The developers of the PC version of Halo Reach 343 Industries have shared the system requirements for their project. I must say that the team that optimizes the game for the PC did a great job because the minimum requirements look impressive:

In order to complete the game, you will need a processor not worse than AMD Phenom II X4 960T or Core i3-550 and a video card of the level of Radeon HD 6850 or GeForce GTS 450. Needless to say, there are no such components in the minimum system requirements for 5-7 years.

At 1080p Halo Reach gets a little more voracious, however, this is still a very democratic requirement. Judge for yourself:

To play comfortably at 61-62 frames per second, you need an AMD FX-4100 or Core i7-870 processor and a Radeon R7 360 or GeForce GTX 560 Ti graphics card.

And of course, the developers have not forgotten about the wealthy gamers with 4K monitors. In order to get the coveted 60 FPS at a resolution of 3840 by 2160 pixels, you will need an AMD FX-6350 or Core i5-3450 processor and an AMD Radeon RX 480 (seriously?) Or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 graphics card.

The only thing that is a little confusing is that the testing team compared the Radeon RX 480 video card with the GeForce GTX 770. Whether this is really so, we can only find out at the game’s release.

Earlier it was reported that the PC version of Halo Reach was supposed to be released before the end of this year, but now there are rumors that the release of the game has been postponed to early 2020.
