The AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT has been tested in Ashes of the Singularity. AMD's new XT processors are launching soon, with support for existing motherboards.
We recently reported that AMD will launch new processors soon to counter Intel's recently introduced 10th Gen Core chips. These solutions are confirmed to be the Ryzen 9 3900XT, Ryzen 7 3800XT, and Ryzen 5 3600 XT CPUs. The only major difference from the original processors will be their higher base and boost clock speeds.
Today, VideoCardz, with help from enthusiast _rogame, managed to obtain the test results for the AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT chip in the Ashes of the Singularity benchmark:

Unfortunately, the AotS database doesn't show the chip's clock speeds in its validation entry, preventing us from accurately comparing this result against other processors.
Cores/Threads | Base Clock | Boost Clock | TDP | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Ryzen 9 3950X | 16C/32T | 3.5 GHz | 4.7 GHz | 105W |
Ryzen 9 3900XT | 12C/24T | 4.1 GHz | 4.7-4.8 GHz | 105W (?) |
Ryzen 9 3900X | 12C/24T | 3.8 GHz | 4.6 GHz | 105W |
Ryzen 7 3800XT | 8C/16T | 4.2 GHz | 4.7-4.8 GHz | 105W (?) |
Ryzen 7 3800X | 8C/16T | 3.9 GHz | 4.5 GHz | 105W |
Ryzen 7 3700X | 8C/16T | 3.6 GHz | 4.4 GHz | 65W |
Ryzen 5 3600XT | 6C/12T | 4.0 GHz | 4.7 GHz | 95W(?) |
Ryzen 5 3600X | 6C/12T | 3.8 GHz | 4.4 GHz | 95W |
Ryzen 5 3600 | 6C/12T | 3.6 GHz | 4.2 GHz | 65W |
Still, this indicates that the Ryzen 3000 XT processors are launching very soon.
Furthermore, current information suggests that existing X570-based motherboards and upcoming B550 boards will fully support the new processors. It's also highly likely that X470 and B450 boards will gain Ryzen 3000 XT support after a BIOS update.
