
The AMD Ryzen 5 3500X outperformed the Intel Core i5 9400F in benchmarks and games. Chinese experts unboxed and tested the new CPU.
Chinese experts are usually among the first to get their hands on new hardware, and the Ryzen 5 3500X is no exception. Today, Chinese media published the first unboxing and benchmark results for AMD's Ryzen 5 3500X processor.

⤢ ВІДКРИТИThe AMD Ryzen 5 3500X boasts a 3600 MHz base clock and a 4100 MHz max boost clock. The processor comes with 32 MB of cache, a 65W TDP, and a price tag of around $150.
⤢ ВІДКРИТИOur Chinese counterparts tested the processor on an MSI B450M Mortar Max motherboard, equipped with 16 GB of 3000 MHz DDR4 RAM and a GeForce GTX 1660 6 GB graphics card.
⤢ ВІДКРИТИIn CPU-Z, the AMD Ryzen 5 3500X scored 476.3 points in the single-core test, while the Core i5-9400F hit 451.4 points. For multi-core performance, the AMD Ryzen 5 3500X achieved 2774.9 points against Intel's 2568.2.

In PUBG, the newcomer averaged around 80 frames per second.
Assassin's Creed Odyssey saw it hit an average of 65 frames per second, with lows of 27 and highs of 141.
In Shadow of the Tomb Raider, the Ryzen 5 3500X demonstrated an average framerate of around 77 frames per second.
World War Z showed the Ryzen 5 3500X achieving 126 frames per second on average, with a maximum of 171 and a minimum of 109.
Finally, in League of Legends, the chip delivered an average FPS of around 180 and a peak of about 222.
The release date for this promising new chip remains unknown.
