TWRP is now officially available for the Xiaomi Mi A3 and Redmi Note 8 Pro. The Mi A3 requires specific installation instructions, while the Redmi Note 8 Pro carries a significant risk of 'bricking'.
An unofficial TWRP port has been available for the Xiaomi Mi A3 for a while. But if you were waiting for an official build from the developers, your wait is finally over. As of today, TWRP is officially available for the Xiaomi Mi A3. However, before you start configuring your phone and connecting it to a PC for the flashing process, make sure to read the instructions. That's because the Xiaomi Mi A3 uses an A/B partition system, and the flashing procedure differs slightly from the standard method. Here's the link to download TWRP for Xiaomi Mi A3.
As for the Redmi Note 8 Pro, it has also received its TWRP build, but you need to be extremely careful with this device. Unlike other Snapdragon-powered Redmi devices, the Redmi Note 8 Pro is built on a MediaTek Helio G90T chip, which makes it less ideal for flashing or modding. For currently unknown reasons, you could easily end up 'bricking' your device and losing its functionality. Without spending money or visiting a service center, recovering this device is currently impossible. Be careful; if you're not entirely confident in your abilities, it's best to hold off on modifying the Redmi Note 8 Pro for now.
