Chinese overclocker Takukou claimed two gold medals, setting GEEKBENCH3 - MULTI CORE records with a Ryzen 9 3900XT chip clocked at 5725MHz.
Prolific Chinese overclocker Takukou already holds top spots in the AMD Ryzen 3 3100, Ryzen 9 3950X, Ryzen 3600XT, and 3800XT CPU rankings. Now, he's added another impressive result with the Ryzen 9 3900XT processor.
The Chinese enthusiast managed to get his hands on a particularly good sample of the recently released 24-thread chip. By overclocking it to 5725MHz, he set a new GEEKBENCH3 - MULTI CORE record, not just for that specific CPU model, but also in the overall 12-core category!
According to CPU-z, to get the binned Ryzen 9 3900XT processor through the GEEKBENCH3 benchmark at 5725MHz, Takukou had to push the core voltage to a hefty 1.776 volts. The chip was, of course, cooled with liquid nitrogen, and the multi-core score hit 82560 points.
Takukou's test bench featured the following components:
Motherboard — MSI MEG X570 GODLIKE (MS-7C34) Bios 1.80O1
RAM — two 8GB G.SKILL Trident Z Royal F4-4000C15-8GTRG modules
Operating system — Windows 10
