Splave: Geekbench3 record Core i9 9980XE and 18-core CPUs

American overclocker Splave has just shattered two Geekbench3 Multi-Core records at once: the Core i9 9980XE model category and the overall 18-core CPU ranking.

To hit the 101,213-point score, the American enthusiast pushed the 9980XE processor to an astonishing 5800MHz using liquid nitrogen. Paired with that, the memory ran at 3733MHz with tight 12-11-11-24 timings, all mounted on the popular ASRock X299 OC Formula motherboard.

Splave's single-core score: 6143 points, multi-core: 101213 points.

Unfortunately, the record-holder didn't specify the other components used in the setup. However, it's safe to assume the graphics card wasn't anything powerful, likely just a simple 'placeholder' GPU.
