Looking at American overclocker Splave's recent records, it seems he's practically chained to the LGA2066 platform. In the last forty days alone, he's set six records on the high-end platform:
Core i7 7740X at 7055MHz and wPrime 1024m gold in the CPU model ranking
Core i7 7740X at 6979MHz and a record in the HWBOT x265 Benchmark — 4k model ranking
Two records at once in GPUPI for CPU — 1B and wPrime — 1024m on the Core i9 9960X
And, of course, a Geekbench3 record for all 18-core CPUs and the Core i9 9980XE at 5800MHz
And that's not even counting the times the enthusiast surpassed his own previous scores. There were at least as many, if not more, of those.
It's no secret that this kind of activity is almost impossible without sponsorship, and Splave actively uses products from ASRock and Enermax. However, this doesn't diminish his achievements in any way.
Today, the American overclocker decided to treat us to a new record set on his favorite LGA2066 platform:
⤢ ВІДКРИТИThis time, the overclocker chose the Intel Core i9-9920X processor. This 12-core, 24-thread CPU is one of the 'cheapest' on the LGA2066 socket, yet calling it weak would be a grave mistake.
⤢ ВІДКРИТИWith the help of liquid nitrogen, the processor was overclocked to an impressive 6021MHz, ultimately allowing Splave to achieve 4092 points in the popular Cinebench R15 benchmark.
Unfortunately, due to sponsor restrictions, the enthusiast only listed the components they endorsed: ASRock X299 OC Formula motherboard, NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030 graphics card, Thermal Grizzly Kryo thermal paste, and an Enermax Maxtytan 1250-watt power supply.
