The American overclocker clearly hasn't abandoned the Core i7 7740X, and in just two days he's delivered another record. This time, Splave managed to complete wPrime - 1024m with the CPU clocking in at 7055 MHz.
⤢ ВІДКРИТИThe final time was 1 minute, 28 seconds, and 781 milliseconds, earning the enthusiast first place in both the Intel Core i7 7740X model ranking and among all quad-core CPUs.
⤢ ВІДКРИТИThe test bench remained unchanged, featuring a delidded, liquid nitrogen-cooled Core i7 7740X, an ASRock X299 OC Formula motherboard, two 8GB G.Skill F4-4133C19-8GTZA memory sticks, and a 1250-watt Enermax Maxtytan power supply.
⤢ ВІДКРИТИAs I suspected, the result from two days ago was just the beginning. Even now, this is only his second result, and we can expect much more from Splave going forward.
