Safedisk Achieves Cinebench R15 Gold with Ryzen 9 3900X

Just over two weeks after his last achievement, Korean overclocker safedisk has once again secured a gold medal with his Ryzen 9 3900X CPU:

And just like last time, these are records in both categories: by specific model and for 12-core CPUs!

Last time, the processor was clocked at 5547 MHz, yielding 4354 points. Today, however, he achieved 4383 points at 5549 MHz.

The CPU frequency remained virtually unchanged. Unfortunately, the Korean overclocker didn't disclose how he managed to boost his score without significantly increasing the clock speed. We can only speculate that the enthusiast optimized the operating system and possibly some minor UEFI settings on the motherboard.

Here's a look at the test bench:

The Ryzen 9 3900X processor was overclocked to 5549 MHz using liquid nitrogen on an ASUS CROSSHAIR VIII IMPACT motherboard.

Safedisk once again used two 1300-watt power supply units from Antec:

Accompanying them were 16GB of G.SKILL RAM (model unknown) and a GeForce GT 710 'dummy' graphics card.
