Taiwanese overclocker bianbao set an absolute DDR4 memory frequency record for the AMD platform: 5856MHz. A fantastic result on a Ryzen 5 3600X.
Just a few months ago, achieving DDR4 memory frequencies above 3600MHz on the AMD platform was a challenge. But with the updated Zen 2 architecture and its promised improvements to the memory controller, even 4200MHz doesn't seem that high anymore.
What's more, Taiwanese overclocker bianbao just set a new record. While the screenshots show a third-place ranking, it's important to remember that the top two records were achieved on Intel platforms. This makes it an absolute record for memory on an AMD platform!
⤢ ВІДКРИТИThat's 5856MHz memory on an AM4 platform! These are truly fantastic numbers!
⤢ ВІДКРИТИFor such an impressive result, bianbao used a rather modest AMD Ryzen 5 3600X processor, overclocking its cores to 2221MHz. The CPU was, of course, cooled by liquid nitrogen.

It's quite amusing that the Asus ROG CROSSHAIR VIII IMPACT motherboard is sitting on a RAMPAGE V EXTREME PCB. Apparently, it's just being used as a stand.
