safedisk: Cinebench R15 record with Ryzen 9 3900X (5.5GHz)

Korean enthusiast safedisk has set a new record in both the overall and 12-core categories of the Cinebench R15 benchmark using an AMD Ryzen 9 3900X processor.

To achieve the top spot, the overclocker pushed the CPU to 5,547 MHz using liquid nitrogen. The test bench also included an ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR VIII FORMULA motherboard and 16GB of G.SKILL RAM (model unknown).

As is typical for such setups, a 'placeholder' graphics card, in this case, a GT 710, handled video output.

Notably, safedisk kindly provided details about the power supply used.

These turned out to be, apparently, a pair of 1300-watt Antec power supply units. The Korean enthusiast clearly prepared diligently for this benching session, earning him two first-place finishes. We congratulate him on this excellent result with the new processor.
