Gamescom 2023 continues to delight video game fans. Today Ukrainian studio GSC Game World presented a new gameplay trailer of the second part of its cult franchise S.T.A.L.K.E.R., as well as shared information about the release date of Heart of Chornobyl.
Don’t let the short length of the trailer mislead you, as Bolts & Bullets contains a lot of details and important information about the upcoming project.
Let’s start with the most delicious: in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl will be very diverse interaction with anomalies. Bolts? Now the interaction with anomalies will be greatly expanded. You will be able to throw literally everything at them: from scattered objects like the bucket from the video to monsters. In addition, the trailer showed several weapon variants, which look very detailed.
Bolts & Bullets also demonstrates a very good graphical aspect of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. The game is based on the current version of Unreal Engine 5 game engine. Most likely, the game will utilize the Nanite system and Lumen global lighting. However, judging by this particular trailer, many graphical aspects are still being finalized, like the same lighting and appearance of anomalies.
The trailer ends very predictably. GSC Game World studio once again postponed the release of their project. Now the release of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is expected to be released in the first quarter of 2024.
