AMD's Ryzen 7000 'Zen 4' CPUs are rumored for an earlier-than-expected launch, possibly in early Q3 2022 with a Computex announcement. Anticipate significant IPC and frequency improvements.
New, rather credible rumors suggest AMD's Zen 4-based Ryzen 7000 chips could launch as early as the beginning of Q3 this year. AMD is expected to announce the new lineup at Computex in May, revealing the exact launch date for Zen 4 CPUs there. Furthermore, rumors claim the new architecture will deliver up to a 25% IPC uplift over Zen 3, alongside clock speeds nearing 5 GHz.
This information comes from the well-known and reliable insider @greymon55, who claims AMD has significantly moved up the announcement and release dates for their next-gen CPUs.

Previously, it was claimed that Ryzen 7000 would only launch in Q4 2022.
AMD has only confirmed so far that their Ryzen 7000 desktop processors will use the new 5nm Zen 4 architecture and a completely new AM5 platform ecosystem. Officially, Zen 4 chips were set for a "second half of 2022" launch, but it now appears the red giant's plans have significantly shifted.
These revised dates likely stem from the highly successful launch of Intel's revamped LGA 1700 platform, whose chips easily outperformed the vast majority of AMD's offerings. The only real exception is the ultra-high-end Ryzen 9 5950X, which still capably defends the red chipmaker's honor.
