The new video card is extremely massive. The cooling system occupies at least three expansion slots and has two, apparently, 100mm “turntables”.
The back of the video card is covered with a backplate with slots all over the surface. It is not known whether he is in direct contact with the textolite of the video card or not. Because of this, it is unclear whether it has any contribution to cooling the video adapter. As we remember, using the Sapphire RX 470/480 as an example, the backplate is not always a useful “feature” and may even aggravate the cooling of the rear side of the board.
New items will go on sale at the end of August, the price and frequency formula are still unknown.
