Finnish overclocker Jokot overclocked the Core i7 4790K processor to 6260MHz and won gold in the Cinebench R15 discipline with 1285 points.
In the comments to the result, the enthusiast pointed out that after the experiments, the ASUS Z97-AR motherboard “went into another world.” So it looks like Jokot won’t be able to improve its performance in the near future.
