The user of the most popular resource reddit published several extremely amusing posts in which he told about an interesting purchase.

According to FR33_L35T3R (the lucky nickname), he bought an Intel Core i9-9900KS processor from a Czech store with no problem at 589 euros ($ 530).

FR33_L35T3R was able to run the i9-9900KS on an ASUS ROG Maximus XI Hero motherboard and immediately began researching his purchase:

In the Prime95 stability test at stock frequencies, the processor warmed up to 83 degrees. After overclocking, which was 5200 MHz, the temperature exceeded 95 degrees. The Noctua NH-D15 cooler was responsible for cooling. This is an extremely good result, especially if it is really a retail sample.

For the rest of the tests, the FR33_L35T3R chose the following overclocking parameters: The processor was running at 5200 MHz, 1.32 volts, and an AVX offset of 5.

With these settings, the Intel Core i9-9900KS was able to score 5356 points in the Cinebench R20 test:

The second test was the less predictable Geekbench:

Unfortunately, these are all tests shared by reddit user FR33_L35T3R.

Recall that the Intel Core i9-9900KS processor will receive the same 8 cores, 16 threads as its predecessor Core i9-9900K, but in the case of a beginner, all 8 cores will be able to reach 5000 MHz.

The Core i9-9900KS is due out this month, but Intel has yet to give an exact date.
