HWiNFO v7.03 gets support for ASUS Z690 and Maximus XIV motherboards
HWiNFO v7.03 now supports ASUS Z690 and Maximus XIV motherboards, plus Raptor Lake-S processors for Intel's 600-series chipsets.
Reliable insider KOMACHI_ENSAKA has posted a snippet from the patch notes of an upcoming new version of HWiNFO, a popular PC monitoring and diagnostic tool, on their Twitter account.

The data indicates that the next utility update will add support for ASUS Z690 motherboards and Raptor Lake-S processors. These Raptor Lake-S chips are slated to replace Alder Lake-S. Crucially, the ASUS Z690 motherboard will support both CPU series.
⤢ ВІДКРИТИIntel motherboards featuring the new LGA1700 socket and 600-series chipsets are anticipated to launch around Q4 2021. These boards are currently known to support the Alder Lake-S CPU series (12th Gen Core) and will be compatible with both DDR4/DDR5 memory and PCIe 5.0.
It's entirely possible that manufacturers like ASRock and Biostar will offer their fans flexible combo boards, supporting both DDR4 and DDR5 RAM. This could allow some buyers to transition relatively painlessly from the slowly aging DDR4 to the more advanced DDR5.
