Gears 5 on Xbox Series X could get a 4K/120 FPS mode

According to a new report by Ars Technica, Gears 5 runs beautifully at 4K and 120 FPS on the Xbox Series X. The game looks so sharp and detailed that it's virtually indistinguishable from a high-end PC. These results are incredibly impressive, especially considering how affordable Microsoft's new console is compared to a powerful gaming rig.

Right now, official Gears 5 videos can't showcase frame rates above 60 FPS for one reason or another, but that doesn't mean Microsoft won't release updates after the Xbox Series X launch to bump the latest entry to 120 FPS.
