
GALAX and Gainward have released BIOS updates with Resizable BAR support for RTX 30-series graphics cards, though they're currently only available in China.
NVIDIA previously claimed that its RTX 3090, 3080, and 3070 Founders Edition cards would get Resizable BAR support by the end of March. However, as of March 28, the company has yet to release any updates or comment on the rollout.
Resizable BAR gives the CPU direct access to the graphics card's entire memory pool, boosting gaming performance. Depending on the game, performance gains can reach 5% to 11%.
⤢ ВІДКРИТИThat said, it seems some of NVIDIA's board partners have already started rolling out BIOS updates to enable ReBAR support on their custom RTX 3000 models.
The new firmware is only available for specific GALAX China and Gainward China models, meaning it's not meant for international RTX 3000 variants. Since stable operation on other cards cannot be guaranteed, we strongly advise against using these tools, at least until your card's manufacturer confirms compatibility with the files listed below.
