
CD Projekt RED has released the full changelog for Cyberpunk 2077's upcoming 1.2 update, detailing numerous fixes and improvements. The patch is expected to launch soon.
CD Projekt RED has published the patch notes for the upcoming 1.2 update for Cyberpunk 2077 on its official website. The list of fixes is so extensive and wide-ranging that it's impossible to pick out the most important changes.
Cyberpunk 2077's 1.2 patch is launching very soon for all current platforms, including Google Stadia! However, there's no exact release date yet. Previously, CD Projekt RED stated that patch 1.2 for Cyberpunk 2077 would be available by the end of March 2021.

Please note that the issues listed below didn't affect all players.
Gameplay
Police now appear at a significantly greater distance after the player commits a crime.
A "Vehicle Handling Sensitivity" slider is now available in the control settings. This allows players to reduce the turning speed for all vehicles and input devices, specifically benefiting keyboard users.
Vehicle steering code has been adjusted to ensure smooth handling, regardless of whether you're experiencing very low or very high frame rates. This change will be especially noticeable on last-gen base consoles.
All vehicles now have a "rock and turn" feature. Use the left joystick, A/D and W/S keys, or left Shift/Ctrl to rock or turn a stuck vehicle and get back on track.
We've adjusted the driving model for certain vehicles, making them easier to control and steer.
Fixed an issue where the aiming reticle would move on its own when the Berserk implant was active.
Adjusted helicopter firing speed during the Love Like Fire quest.
Police cars no longer despawn when V gets into Kerry's car during the A Like Supreme quest.
Fixed an issue where the projectile launch system's cooldown was instant.
Allies no longer react to being bumped into.
Fixed an issue where grabbed enemies would play collision voice lines as if they had bumped into the player.
The Zetatech Sandevistan (ver. 1) implant now correctly slows time.
Players can no longer avoid fall damage by sliding just before hitting the ground.
It's no longer possible to perform finishers on civilians with Gorilla Arms.
Fixed an issue where cars could push V too far away after a collision.
If V picks up a corpse containing a quest item, that item will now be automatically added to your inventory.
Fixed an issue with incorrect reactions from pedestrians fleeing the player's vehicle.
If V grabs or picks up an enemy who is burning or affected by an EMP, V will now also be affected by that status.
Improved the connection algorithm for personal link to forklifts.
Fixed an issue where V could be launched forward when dodging immediately after Kerenzikov's effect ended.
Fixed an issue where enemies killed by the Synapse Burnout quickhack wouldn't fall to the ground.
Fixed an issue where the Protocol Breach quickhack worked incorrectly during the Sasquatch boss fight.
Fixed an issue that prevented players from neutralizing Placide with a stealth attack.
The Short Circuit quickhack's continuous damage will no longer finish off downed enemies.
Tranquilizer rounds and the Reset quickhack no longer affect cyberpsychos and mini-bosses.
Fixed an issue where quickhacks sometimes became blocked if cooldown acceleration exceeded 100%.
V can no longer use consumables in inappropriate situations.
Store clothing inventories should now better reflect the district they're located in.
Cat food, essential for adopting Nibbles, can now be purchased at grocery stores throughout the city.
The "Formatting" item, used to reset perk points, is now available at a reduced price.
Reduced the number of high-quality components needed to craft Iconic items.
Fixed an issue where exiting a vehicle parked next to a wall could cause V to get stuck in an empty building.
Scan data for the Militech Manticore AV now displays correctly.
Fixed the "Closed []" tooltip on locked car doors.
Fixed an issue where vehicles would start if a corpse was placed in the trunk.
Fixed an animation issue for characters' upper bodies while driving and turning.
Gorilla Arms damage has been increased by 20%.
Prices for Kiroshi Optics component blueprints have been reduced.
Reduced the effectiveness of characters using revolvers.
Fixed an issue where disassembling a partial stack of items granted the same amount of XP as disassembling the full stack.
Disassembling grenades now yields the correct number of common and uncommon components.
Retractable ladders no longer kill V if they are standing directly underneath when lowered.
Fixed an issue where enemies could get stuck in doors and become invulnerable.
Fixed an issue where characters would trip over others too frequently.
V will now automatically unequip a live grenade when entering a safe zone.
Fixed an issue where some knocked-down pedestrians would teleport to a different location.
The Transmigration perk now unlocks at Protocol Breach level 20, not 16. If you've already unlocked it but haven't reached level 20, the perk will be locked, and your spent perk points refunded.
V will no longer die from car collisions after unlocking the "The Rock" perk.
Fixed an issue where weapons could become invisible if the player swapped them twice in a row in the inventory.
Fixed an issue where the Badlands achievement wouldn't unlock under certain circumstances.
Fixed and improved navigation during various quests.
Fixed an issue where one of the laser traps wouldn't trigger during the Wakako's Favorite gig.
Fixed an issue during the Crime: The Great Fortune quest where enemies wouldn't react to the player's approach.
Fixed an issue during the Greed Never Pays gig where an access point could fall through the texture.
Fixed an issue during the Greed Never Pays gig where one of the laser traps was sometimes uninteractable.
Now, if you break a window during the Short Circuit gig, nearby NPCs will notice.
The target enemy will now correctly engage V in melee combat during the Welcome to America, Comrade gig.
Fixed cyberpsycho behavior at the start of combat during the Cyberpsycho Sighting: House on a Hill quest.
Players will no longer fall from a height or get stuck when colliding with an AV during the Organized Crime: Opposites Attract quest.
Fixed an issue where tracked quest markers would sometimes disappear from the minimap.
Fixed an issue where V could end up with the wrong grenade equipped after throwing multiple grenades in quick succession.
Fixed an issue where a protocol breach option was unavailable during the Organized Crime: New Boss, New Rules quest.
Fixed River Ward's follower behavior during The Hunt.
Fixed an issue during The Passenger quest where enemies at the AV crash site wouldn't engage the player from a distance.
Fixed an issue during The Heist quest where one of the Scavengers wouldn't alert others after discovering a body.
Jackie no longer delivers stealth-specific dialogue right before combat starts during The Ripperdoc quest.
Fixed an issue during the Goodbye, Night City gig where nearby enemies wouldn't react to a mine explosion.
Panam now takes a different firing position during the combat with the Wraiths in Riders on the Storm.
Fixed an issue during Chippin' In where Rogue was idle after the elevator ride to Arasaka Tower.
Fixed an issue during The Pickup quest where the detonator sometimes couldn't be used at the All Foods factory.
Jackie now correctly empties his magazine before reloading his weapon during The Heist quest.

The vehicle will now appear in the correct location if you skip the ride with Joshua to Piez Diner during the There Is a Light That Never Goes Out quest.
Task
Players can no longer destroy posters prematurely and lose the ability to complete the «The Boss Is Dead, Long Live the Boss» quest.
The «Passions» quest now updates correctly if V leaves the studio prematurely.
Fixed an issue preventing players from drawing their weapons at Poppy's farm during «The Hunt».
Fixed a bug that occasionally prevented «The Boss Is Dead, Long Live the Boss» from completing after capturing a gang member.
Fixed an issue where «The Maelstrom» quest couldn't be completed if Dum-Dum died at the same time as the last enemy.
Fixed a bug that prevented «The Maelstrom» quest from completing if the player attacked the Maelstrom before entering the All Foods factory.
Players can now transfer money from the Militech chip to themselves in «The Maelstrom» quest, even if they hack it but don't use it.
The penthouse in the «View from Above» quest can no longer be accessed ahead of time.
The «Cyberpsycho Sighting: Bloody Ritual» quest now triggers correctly, no matter how players approach its location.
Takemura no longer vanishes from the videocall window during «The Passenger» quest.
Fixed an issue where Rogue would repeat the same dialogue line during the «Beauty Never Dies» quest.
Fixed a bug that could trap players in the Afterlife near Rogue during the «Crossroads» quest.
Fixed an issue where Mr. Hands wouldn't call after completing the «Double Life» quest.
Fixed a bug causing Teddy, Carol, and Cassidy to repeat their movements if the player reloaded the game during the final conversation in the «Fire Starter» quest.
Fixed an issue where the videocall window wouldn't disappear after ending a call with Regina at a «Cyberpsycho Sighting» quest location.
Fixed a bug that sometimes prevented the «Crossroads» quest from completing if players met Panam during a videocall with her.
Panam now correctly delivers her final line during the «Forward to Death» quest.
You can no longer enter Delamain's taxi in the Badlands while on a motorcycle, which previously could crash the game or prevent switching to first-person view.
The Basilisk can no longer be driven outside the quest area during «Riders on the Storm».
Fixed an issue preventing interaction with Panam if the player fast-traveled at the end of «Riders on the Storm».
Frank will no longer interrupt your conversation with the nomads near the Basilisk with a call during «Riders on the Storm».
Bob and Mitch no longer clip through the truck doors when getting in during «Don't Stop Me Now».
Fixed an issue where players would stop receiving calls after delivering the trucks and immediately leaving the nomad camp during «Don't Stop Me Now».
Nomads no longer get stuck by the netrunner nest gates in Arasaka Tower during «All Along the Watchtower».
Fixed an issue where players would stop receiving calls after leaving the train station during «Don't Stop Me Now».
Fixed bugs that could prevent Jackie from appearing at the All Foods factory gates during «The Maelstrom».
Players can no longer leave Jinguji during combat and fail «Who Keeps the Watchmen».
Fixed an issue where players couldn't complete the «Surprise!» quest if they called Nancy from Totentanz or left the club mid-quest.
Fixed a bug that caused music to disappear in the Totentanz club if players left and then returned.
Fixed an issue where Dum-Dum might not appear at the Totentanz entrance during «A New Twist» quest.
Danny's villa will no longer visually glitch or change before the player's eyes during the «Surprise!» quest.
You can no longer escalate a bar brawl into a shootout near the arcade machines in El Coyote Cojo during «A Study in Pink». (Indiana Jones would be disappointed.)
When re-entering Barry's apartment during «Two Comrades» quest, you can now open the door from the inside.
The «Two Comrades» quest will now automatically fail if you break the law in front of police officers.
To complete the objective 'Try to talk to Barry in a few hours' during the «Two Comrades» quest, you must now leave Barry's apartment and return after several hours have passed.
When the Aldecaldos relocate to a new camp or leave Night City, their old camp will no longer leave any lingering traces.
You can no longer miss the chance to engage in combat while driving the Basilisk through the construction site during «The Front Line».
Fixed an issue where «Sounds of Music» wouldn't trigger correctly if the final scene of «A New Twist» ended too quickly.
Fixed a bug that occasionally prevented «A New Twist» from completing if players got into the Totentanz club elevator with Nancy too quickly.
The objective during the first braindance sequence in «The Hunt» quest is now more clearly defined.
The «Red Prophet» quest will now automatically fail if you fail «Past Traces».
Players can no longer break the TV in Tom's Diner. If you broke it before this patch, it will now display news again, allowing completion of the «Perennial Dream» quest.
Fixed a rare bug where no painting would appear in the capsule during the «Gifts from Space» quest.
You can no longer get stuck in the water when leaving the power plant during the «Go Out With a Bang» quest.
Fixed an issue preventing completion of the «Gifts from Space» quest if multiple paintings spawned in the capsule.
Fixed a bug where «Riders on the Storm» couldn't be completed if players left the quest area after the briefing and then returned.
The «Cyberpsycho Sighting: Smoke on the Water» quest no longer reappears in the journal after being completed.
Fixed an issue preventing interaction with the router during «Red Prophet» if players left and then returned to the quest location.
Fixed a bug where an invisible wall in Judy's workshop prevented the completion of the «Dollhouse» quest.
Fixed an issue that sometimes prevented «Sounds of Music» from completing if the player went to the bathroom to take a pill before finishing the conversation with Nancy.
During «Who Keeps the Watchmen» Lieutenant Max-Tac will now speak to V even if the cyberpsycho is killed before Max-Tac arrives at Jinguji.
In «The Maelstrom» quest, you can no longer simultaneously negotiate peacefully with the gang and engage them in combat.
Jackie no longer gets stuck in the All Foods factory if you reach the exit stealthily, bypassing the fight with Royce.
Fixed an issue preventing access to the Coal restaurant via elevator during «For Whom the Bell Tolls».
Fixed a bug that could leave you without a phone and weapon if you exited the shooting range before speaking with Wilson during «Shoot to Kill».
Jessie no longer disappears when exiting the car if players took too long to reach the ripper during «Sweet Dreams» quest.
Fixed a bug where the player's car would fall through the map after colliding with the white van during the «Sweet Dreams» quest.
Fixed an issue where players would stop receiving calls if they walked away from the monk without meditating during any of the four «Meetings with the Elements» quests.
Fixed a bug that occasionally prevented Delamain from calling during the «Reintegration» quest.
Destroying Delamain's taxi in North Oak no longer blocks the conversation with the monk during «The Third Meeting with the Elements» quest.

Fixed an issue where «Queen of the Highway: Santo Domingo» and «Who Is Not With Us» could both be active at the same time, causing various glitches.

A physical reward has been added for completing all cyberpsycho quests, which can be collected at Regina's office.

You can no longer re-trigger the already failed «Let Me Down Easy» quest by returning to its location and jumping into the water.
Skippy now correctly counts killed and defeated enemies, regardless of your implants or modifications. Conversations with Skippy will also more dynamically integrate with player actions.
Weapons can now be used throughout the parking lot behind the Batty Hotel.
Fixed an issue preventing players from speaking with the police officers at the start of «Two Comrades» quest.
The «Two Comrades» quest will now automatically fail if police officers witness V dragging a body.
Fixed a bug where the jacket became unavailable if players picked it up and disassembled it before talking to Kirk during «Easy Money» quest.
Mama Brigitte will now always answer V's call during «The Human Factor» quest.
Other calls can no longer interrupt Placide's call during «Pattern Recognition» quest.
Fixed an issue where Dum-Dum, killed during «The Maelstrom», could still appear in Totentanz and initiate combat with V, blocking «A New Twist» quest completion.
Fixed a bug where guards wouldn't move away from the elevator during «For Whom the Bell Tolls» if players approached it for the first time and then walked away.
Fixed an issue where players couldn't select a destination after getting into the AV during «Between Two Fires» quest.
You can no longer leave the basketball court near Lizzie's Bar prematurely during «Between Two Fires» quest.
Fixed a bug that prevented players from moving after losing the fight with the Moose during «Blood and Bone» quest.
Fixed an issue preventing players from talking to Jackie after getting implants from Victor during «The City of Dreams» quest.
Fixed a bug where Maelstrom members wouldn't appear if players entered Nancy's room during «A New Twist» via any method other than following Patricia.
Fixed a bug that sometimes made certain abilities unavailable if players drove to the «Watchdogs of Chaos» location with River and then left.
Fixed an issue where Nancy would disappear when being led out of Totentanz during «A New Twist» quest.
Fixed a bug where the Totentanz elevator would stop on the second floor instead of the first during «A New Twist» if players interacted with its panel.
In «Reintegration» quest, Delamain now calls only once, rather than every time V approaches a lost taxi.
Fixed a bug in the scavengers' apartment during «Transcendent Experience» quest where items would get lost or not all equipment would be correctly stowed.
In «Hidden Truth» quest, you can no longer destroy the car containing the mysterious conspirators, which previously would prevent you from retrieving the chip.
You can no longer kill Gary after eliminating the nomads and lose the ability to complete «Hidden Truth». The quest page in the journal will also now update correctly.
Fixed an issue where players couldn't talk to Misty in her shop if they started «The Fool of Night City» during «See You in the Afterlife».
Completing «Anatomy of a Murder» quest now grants additional experience.
Increased Liam's bribe amount during «Played Role» quest.

Open world
Fixed a bug that prevented the quest “Reintegration: Coronado Ranch” from being completed if all flamingos were destroyed before the objective appeared.
V can no longer drive through textures into buildings or fall under the map while driving, fixing issues with the collision system.
Destructible objects no longer become indestructible after loading a save.
Fixed a bug where some investigation requests weren't credited after the player picked up the required items.
Fixed a bug where achievements for completing all gigs and closing all requests in a given area sometimes didn't unlock.
Failing the “No Fixers” gig no longer prevents players from earning the “Badlands” achievement.
Fixed a bug where closed investigation requests sometimes didn't count towards the “Urban Jungle” achievement progress.
Fixed a bug where the “No Fixers” gig wouldn't complete when the player picked up the additional reward.
Fixed a bug where it was sometimes impossible to upload the virus to the computer during the “Empathy Deficit” gig.
Players can no longer partially complete the “Councilor Cole's Schemes” gig before the fixer calls.

During the “Cuckoo's Nest” gig, players can no longer get stuck behind the counter in the hospital lobby.
During the “Free Press” gig, players can no longer talk to Max Jones after using the “Short Circuit” quickhack on him.
During the “Woman from La Mancha” gig, players can no longer engage in combat with Anna Hamill from the floor below.
Fixed a bug where the stream sometimes didn't disappear after a passerby finished urinating and walked away.

Takemura no longer teleports to Wakako's parlor if the player refuses to drive there with him during the quest Old friends.
Fixed a camera issue when exiting the vehicle during the quest The beginning of the end.
Fixed an issue that sometimes prevented players from using the stairs in the security room during the quest On soft paws.
