Using liquid nitrogen, Austrian overclocker TAGG pushed an Intel Pentium E5200 to 6065 MHz, securing first place in the SuperPi - 32M benchmark.
Austrian overclocker TAGG has secured a gold medal in the budget dual-core Intel Pentium E5200 category for SuperPi - 32M.
Just like in his previous benching session with the E2140, TAGG used liquid nitrogen to cool the CPU. This allowed him to push the Pentium E5200 to a massive 6065 MHz (+142.60% over stock) and successfully complete the SuperPi — 32M benchmark in 7 minutes, 59 seconds, and 719 milliseconds, taking first place in this CPU's category:
The record-breaking test bench featured the following hardware:
Motherboard: ASUS Rampage Extreme;
RAM: 2 x 2 GB DDR3 CORSAIR Dominator GT;
Power supply: 850W SuperNOVA G2.
