Cyberpunk 2077's first story DLC is coming in early 2021, and it's free

CD Projekt RED has announced the first free DLC for its mega-hit Cyberpunk 2077. According to the developers, the story-driven expansion will arrive in early 2021 and will be completely free (as long as you own the base game)!

Unfortunately, the Polish studio hasn't shared any details about the upcoming expansion just yet, but the official website promises an entirely new story set in Night City.

Judging by CD Projekt RED's past announcements, this DLC will be the first of several planned free expansions. Players can also look forward to two major paid DLCs, though absolutely nothing is known about them yet.
