The Radeon RX 5500 graphics card is categorized as a Performance product according to recently released marketing materials from AMD.

In general, if you believe the above images with graphs, the new product significantly outperforms the video card from the competitor GeForce GTX 1650. For example, in the particular “red” game World War Z, the RX 5500 outperformed its opponent by 85%. Looking at the relatively neutral designs, the performance of the RX 5500 is just as impressive. In the same popular shooter from EA Battlefield 5, the novelty outperformed the GTX 1650 by an impressive 75%.

But all these achievements pale against the background of the superiority in the primordially sharpened for video cards NVIDIA GTA V. Even in the game Rockstar RX 5500 managed to bypass its price competitor by 22%.

Obviously, it is necessary to wait for tests from independent sources, but what we see in marketing materials is encouraging.

Recall that the Radeon RX 5500 video card carries on board a chip with 1408 stream processors, which is equipped with a 128-bit bus and will have 4 GB or 8 GB of GDDR6 memory at its disposal (depending on the video card: RX 5500 – 4GB, RX 5500XT – 8GB), with a data transfer rate of 14 GB per second, which will provide a bandwidth of 224 GB/s.

The clock speeds of the graphics processor designed for “game mode” are set at 1717 MHz, and the maximum achievable frequency in automatic mode is set at 1845 MHz.
