Our colleagues from VideoCardz in their twitter shared very valuable information about the characteristics and performance of the future AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT graphics card.

According to new rumors, the RX 5600 XT will not have any of the existing GPUs at its disposal and will be based on a completely new chip designed specifically for the RX 5600 line. In addition, at the moment, there are rumors on the network that the video card has 1920 stream processors. However, one should treat them with caution, since we do not have even the slightest bit of confirmed information.

On Twitter, representatives of the VideoCardz website published the characteristics of the video card leaked to the network:

So: As we previously assumed, the video card will still receive a pretty AMD-specific 192-bit memory bus. This is at least evidenced by the amount of video memory of the GDDR6 standard in 6GB. According to the post, the speed of the memory chips will be 12GHz.

Also, the guys at VideoCardz suggested that the GPU on which the RX 5600 XT is based could be either Navi 21 or Navi 10 LE. However, as we wrote above, there is no exact information yet.

The prototype RX 5600 XT has an average clock speed of around 1600MHz and was tested in 3DMark:

  • RX 5600 XT 3DMark Time Spy – 6446 points in the graphics test and 5884 points overall
  • RX 5600 XT 3DMark Time Spy Extreme – 2815 points in the graphics test and 2576 points overall
  • RX 5600 XT 3DMark Time Spy Extreme – 2791 points in the graphics test and 2891 points overall
  • RX 5600 XT Fire Strike – 18906 points in the graphics test and 14341 points overall
  • RX 5600 XT Fire Strike Extreme – 9198 points in the graphics test and 8087 points overall
  • RX 5600 XT Fire Strike Ultra – 4738 points in the graphics test and 4672 points overall
  • RX 5600 XT Fire Strike Ultra – 4756 points in the graphics test and 4688 points overall

Compared to the already introduced Radeon RX 5500 XT, the RX 5600 XT is 30% faster, thus making it more competitive than much higher-end graphics cards such as the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti or Radeon RX Vega 56.

After all of the above, the only thing left is to find out the approximate prices for the Radeon RX 5600 XT, because in the end, the success of the video card on the market will depend only on them.
