XFX RX 5700 THICC2: Announcement of the Navi family graphics card

XFX has unexpectedly unveiled another new addition to its lineup: the triple-slot RX 5700 THICC2 graphics card.

At first glance, the card looks impressive. XFX apparently listened to its fans, as the company's most iconic design – the RX 280X Double Dissipation, unofficially known as the best Radeon graphics card of its generation – is making a comeback with the Navi architecture.

The only known downsides of this design, at least in previous generations, were the difficulty of disassembly for maintenance and notoriously unreliable fans.

However, XFX has had at least five years to address these issues. The RX 5700 THICC2 is set to launch around mid-August.
