Ubisoft is offering Assassin's Creed II for free until April 17. While it's just the base game without expansions, it's still widely regarded as one of the series' greatest masterpieces.
Rumors of a free Assassin's Creed II giveaway began circulating last week. Reliable sources hinted that Ubisoft would offer the second installment of the iconic hooded assassin franchise on Tuesday, April 14, as part of its "Make Your Contribution, Play at Home" campaign. The rumors were true: you can claim the game until April 17 at 16:00 UTC+3.
⤢ ВІДКРИТИJust be aware: Ubisoft is only offering the base Assassin's Creed II for free. The standalone expansions (or separate games, depending on how you view them), Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and Assassin's Creed: Revelations, are not included. If Ezio Auditore da Firenze's memorable story hooks you, you'll have to purchase those titles separately. Yet, even without those two additions, Assassin's Creed II is arguably one of the best — if not the best — installment in the entire Assassin's Creed series.
You can claim Assassin's Creed II directly from the store, or through the UPlay app installed on your PC.
