Finnish overclocker Luumi just set four records for the 4-core, 8-thread Intel Core i7-930 processor. This 45-nanometer chip was designed for the LGA 1366 platform and belongs to the first generation of Intel Core i7 CPUs.
The enthusiast first snagged gold in the SuperPi - 1M. The chip was clocked at 5270MHz for this, achieving a result of 7 seconds and 640 milliseconds:
