AMD's new Ryzen 5 5600X3D processor, featuring 6 cores and 96MB of cache, will launch exclusively at MicroCenter in the US on July 7. This decision has already sparked anger among fans outside the country.
AMD's Ryzen 5000 processor lineup for the AM4 platform is about to get a new CPU. As expected, it's the 6-core Ryzen 5 5600X3D, featuring an additional 96MB of cache. However, AM4 platform owners shouldn't get too excited just yet: this powerful chip will be exclusively available at US retailer MicroCenter starting July 7.

Many contacted AMD's tech support directly to verify the information. Unfortunately, the information was confirmed: US retailer MicroCenter will be the exclusive launch partner for this processor for its entire availability period. This means the 5600X3D won't be sold in any other country.
Regarding its specifications, the 5600X3D boasts 6 cores, 12 threads, a significant 96MB of L3 cache, and a 105-watt TDP. The processor will retail for $229 in the US.
