British overclocker harry4593t just smashed a record, pushing the Core i9-9820X to an impressive 4325.3 MHz and bagging a gold medal all without the aid of liquid nitrogen.
British overclocker harry4593t has set a rather interesting new record. Choosing the relatively unpopular Core i9-9820X chip, the enthusiast managed to push it to 4325.3MHz, earning a gold medal in the processor's model leaderboard.
⤢ ВІДКРИТИFor the motherboard, the overclocker chose the respectable EVGA X299 Dark (151-SX-E299-KR) and paired it with a solid A-DATA 2OZ 4133MHz RAM kit (four 8GB sticks). The CPU was liquid-cooled, and two 120mm fans handled heat dissipation for the motherboard components and RAM.
Impressively, harry4593t completed the y-cruncher - Pi-1b benchmark with a result of 22 seconds 483 milliseconds, all without using extreme cooling methods like liquid nitrogen in the test bench:
