Square Enix unveils new Outriders story trailer

People Can Fly has released a new story trailer for Outriders, titled 'Journey into the Unknown', on the game's official YouTube channel. Outriders takes players to the distant planet Enoch. You'll venture from a human colony deep into the planet, searching for a mysterious signal. Players will explore Enoch and battle its local fauna. The game also supports 1-3 player co-op.

Visually, the project frankly looks like a blend of Gears of War and Destiny. And we're not the only ones who noticed; in the comments, some gamers have already dubbed Outriders "Gears of Destiny." But let's not jump to conclusions just yet. There's no shame in drawing visual inspiration from successful projects, as long as Outriders delivers an interesting and engaging story.
