
Sony debuted four minutes of Demon's Souls Remake gameplay at the PlayStation 5 Showcase. The graphics are stunning, though combat mechanics appear different. No release date was shared.
During the latest PlayStation 5 Showcase event, Sony finally showed off four minutes of actual gameplay from the highly anticipated Demon's Souls remake:

Bluepoint, the studio developing the updated version, put a tremendous amount of work into the visuals. The game looks absolutely stunning. However, from a gameplay perspective, things aren't quite as clear yet.
What immediately stands out is the attack and finishing move implementation, which looks quite different from From Software's other titles. It's entirely possible this impression is purely visual, and in actual gameplay, the mechanics will be closer to the original Demon's Souls. However, it's still unclear when we'll get to try the game ourselves, as Sony didn't share a release date for Demon's Souls Remake.
