NVIDIA is rumored to be preparing a GeForce GTX 1650 Ti graphics card, potentially as a pre-emptive strike against AMD's RX 5600 series. It's expected to feature 1024 CUDA cores.
This move could be NVIDIA's pre-emptive strike. Just recently, rumors started circulating about AMD prepping its RX 5600 series, based on the Navi 14 GPU.
⤢ ВІДКРИТИIn that scenario, NVIDIA would need a similarly powerful GPU, but without ray tracing support. A $150 price tag would put AMD in a tough spot, as its rumored new cards also lack ray tracing, just like NVIDIA's GTX series.
The new card is rumored to feature 1024 CUDA cores, 32 ROPs, and 65 TMUs. For comparison, the standard GTX 1650 has 896 CUDA cores, 32 ROPs, and 56 TMUs. GTX 1650 Ti clock speeds are currently unknown, but it's safe to assume they'll be slightly higher than the non-Ti version.
If the rumors are true, the graphics card will launch in October.
