PowerColor Radeon RX 5700 Red Devil, Red Dragon: Specifications

PowerColor today unveiled its custom designs for AMD Navi GPUs, introducing new Red Devil and Red Dragon series Radeon RX 5700 and RX 5700 XT graphics cards.

First, let's examine the more premium and powerful Red Devil design, a familiar look from the vendor's previous custom cards:

The graphics card features contemporary RGB lighting. For maximum performance and relative quiet, three 90mm fans cool the radiator. Its twelve-layer PCB includes a 10-phase GPU power delivery system, capable of supplying up to 300 watts.

The PowerColor Radeon RX 5700 XT Red Devil boasts game clock speeds of 1905 MHz, boosting up to 2010 MHz. The more affordable PowerColor RX 5700 Red Devil operates at 1725 MHz in gaming mode and reaches a maximum factory overclock of 1750 MHz.

The XT version features some of the highest clock speeds among all announced non-reference designs, a claim that doesn't quite apply to the standard RX 5700 Red Devil.

Both graphics cards come equipped with 8 GB of GDDR6 memory, offering a bandwidth of 448 GB/s.

PowerColor also announced its new Red Dragon RX 5700 series. This graphics card features two 100mm fans cooling a radiator with five heat pipes. Compared to the Red Devil, the Red Dragon RX 5700 is a relatively compact card.

The XT version of the card operates at 1795 MHz in gaming mode, boosting up to 1905 MHz. The standard PowerColor RX 5700 Red Dragon runs at 1720 MHz in gaming mode, with a maximum boost of 1750 MHz.

Like their more powerful counterparts, both Red Dragon cards also include 8 GB of GDDR6 memory, delivering 448 GB/s bandwidth.
