Insiders claim AMD's upcoming Raphael (Zen4) processors will feature up to 16 cores, a 170W TDP, DDR5 support, and the new AM5 socket. Expect a launch in the latter half of 2022.
Reliable insider Patrick Schur reported on his Twitter account that AMD's next-gen Raphael processors (Zen4 architecture) will be manufactured on a 5nm process, be limited to 16 cores, and feature an expanded TDP of up to 170W.

However, these rumors were first sparked by another equally reliable source, ExecutableFix. They also reported that AMD's Raphael (Zen4) processors would feature "only" 16 cores in their maximum configuration. This implies that earlier rumors of a three-chiplet design were incorrect, and the 'red giant's' new processors will stick to the same two core CCD blocks found in their Zen3 predecessors.

As a reminder, Ryzen 6000 processors will be AMD's first CPUs to support DDR5 RAM. They will also be the 'red team's' first desktop chips to transition to a new 1718-pin LGA socket design, codenamed AM5.
Currently, it's known that AMD Raphael (Zen4) won't launch this year, with availability slated only for the second half of 2022.
