New Death Stranding trailer explains Hartman's character

A new Death Stranding trailer reveals details about Hartman and his rare condition. The character's heart stops every 21 minutes. Releasing November 8.

Initially, this teaser trailer was shown a few days ago at San Diego Comic-Con. However, it later appeared on the official PlayStation YouTube channel.

At just two minutes, the trailer isn't incredibly informative on its own. However, by combining Kojima's previous comments about the character with the trailer and its accompanying synopsis, we can at least start to understand how Hartman fits into the story.

The trailer reveals Hartman suffers from a rare condition: his heart stops every twenty-one minutes. He then experiences three minutes of clinical death, during which he tries to find his deceased family members 'on the other side.' An automatic defibrillator eventually restarts his heart, and the cycle repeats.
