RPCS3 emulator developers have released an update that disables MLAA anti-aliasing in God of War 3 and Killzone 3, significantly improving performance.
The developers behind the PlayStation 3 emulator recently rolled out a significant patch update for RPCS3. This time, they've managed to disable the 'resource-hungry' MLAA anti-aliasing (Morphological Anti-Aliasing – a post-processing algorithm that uses the PlayStation 3's CELL processor instead of the Reality Synthesizer (RSX)) in two new titles: God of War 3 and Killzone 3. By taking some of the load off the CPU, the RPCS3 team has seriously improved both the quality and performance of these exclusives.
