Naughty Dog is developing an unannounced multiplayer game, a fact confirmed by a new job posting. It appears the project is still in its early stages.
It looks like American studio Naughty Dog—the team behind Crash Bandicoot, Uncharted, and The Last of Us—is currently developing an unannounced multiplayer project. While the setting remains unknown, a newly posted job opening for a multiplayer level designer on the official website of the SONY subsidiary strongly hints at its existence.
Some international outlets speculate this job opening is for the infamous multiplayer mode originally slated for last year's The Last of Us Part II. However, that project was either postponed or outright canceled, as we know. What's more, the studio is only now hiring for it, suggesting this mysterious new game is still in its very early development stages.
Given how adept SONY and its subsidiary studios are at keeping secrets, it's safe to assume we won't be hearing any official details about Naughty Dog's new project anytime soon.
